Megan & Evan’s wedding at Durham Springs in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania felt warm, fun, nostalgic, and honestly just so them from beginning to end. Durham Springs, part of Landmark Weddings, (formerly Cascade Lodge) was the perfect backdrop for it all, especially as one of the first weddings in the space after all the recent renovations. The new glass-windowed chapel is such a dream for ceremonies — bright, open, and perfect no matter the weather — and the getting-ready spaces are just as good, filled with natural light.

There were so many personal touches woven into this day, but the beer details were such a standout. Evan is the head brewer at Lost Tavern Brewing in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, so naturally craft beer had to be part of the story in a meaningful way. They created a custom “Perfect Pair Pils” (a New Zealand style pilsner) with custom labels and matching beer cozies, and even had green hops worked into the florals — which Locust Bloom absolutely nailed in bringing to life. Everything felt cohesive without feeling too “matchy,” just really thoughtful and true to them.

Their invitations were also next level in the best way — each guest received a vintage 7-inch record with a note that said, “spin the record dance the night away with us,” which set the tone perfectly. Inside the venue, the parlor room had all their favorite records on display, which made it feel even more personal and lived-in in the best way.

One of the most tender moments of the day was when Megan had a photo of her late grandfather attached to her bouquet. There’s a moment where she shows her grandmother the photo of him and they just completely melt into this really quiet and emotional moment together — definitely one of those parts of the day that sticks with you.

And honestly, the best part of all of it was just Megan & Evan together. They are so positive, goofy, and clearly just love life and their people so well. You can tell how much they look out for each other and how much respect they have for one another in the way they move through everything together. It made the whole day feel really grounded and really full of joy — like a celebration that was as real as it was beautiful.
