This couples session spent wandering the streets of New York City’s West Village felt like it was straight out of a summer rom-com. Complete with feeding each other pizza, grabbing snacks from a deli, and stopping by a flower cart.

I had met Tara a few months prior to this session at a wedding I was photographing. She was one of the content creators and just radiated so much joy the whole day. I absolutely loved working with her (if you are looking for a content creator for your wedding day, check out her IG @somethinghue) and as soon as I found our her and her husband were recently married, I was like “I NEED to photograph you guys asap.” So, I got a few friends together, we headed to New York City’s West Village and we made it happen! They just were so kind, fun, and down for any ideas me and my friends had along the way.

There is something so magical to me about photographing couples in the city. I love the texture and character it adds to the images and it’s especially cool when the couple loves the city and have memories there together. The West Village offered such a great atmosphere to create a truly fun and unique session for this couple.
